No hot water from the hot tap. Can hear pump working when hot tap turned on. Water heater tank appears to be filling up as I can catch a bowlfull if I open the drain plug. Can hear the switches in the tap clicking (It's a mixer type), and the cold works fine.
Is this again a manifestation of the NRV problem on the cold inlet, or could I have problem on the hot outlet side?
It does sound like you need to pull some pipes off and see if the hot water comes out , if your getting water into the heater tank , but not at the taps , then either the outlet from the heater is blocked or the tap is broken , that's all i can think of hope it helps .

One trick is to switch everything off and go out to the submersible pump and remove it from the water container, give it a shake and return it into the container, then start the pump again. If this does not work, try draining the hot water tank, do what I suggest with the pump and start again. I have had this happen from time to time and it seems to work for me.
David, I'll give that a try next trip away. Michael, taps are of the "lift lever & turn" type, but as I get same result from kitchen, wash basin and shower, I've tended to discount it being a tap problem.
