GRP is not painted it added into the final surface gelcoat and spray on to give the smooth finished surface.  I'm in the fibreglass business but don't deal much with caravans.

I am going to give one of our customers a ring on Monday and hopefully he will be able to unform me on how to remove the scuff marks before I try this weekend and make a mess of the caravan.
