should there be a filter somewhere on our 2001 elddis avante ?  cant seem to locate it if there is one. our last `van had an aquasource in-line jobby which i found straight away.

I too have an Advante 2001 so would be intrested in your findings. I have had a quick look at mine and I cant find the water fillter. Look at the link below and it will take you to the 2003 handbook, much of it seems the same. There is somthing about water fillters on page 35, it appears that the fillter (if fitted) will be where you plug the water pump in.

There isnt one. Most entry level vans have the "compact" connection rather than the one with the filter.

On our previous van I fitted an inline filter under the sink to the cold water .. no point filtering all the water.

 I have Elddis Riviera (Avante 482) 2002 no water filter fitted.
