I am looking for a small cotton tent, with standing headroom, for solo camping, sleeping on a cot 210x75x38cm. My favourite so far is the Cabanon Noumea, but I have also considered the EVSO Bedouin 240. Any feedback? I see that Karen has owned both but do not know if she is still active on the site.

ESVO tents are well-made, and I had their Bedouin 340 with an inner tent and would highly recommend this brand for their quality products.
Cabanon is another good brand.
Camping Travel Store has finished their outdoor tent display now for the season, however, you might be able to see a Bedouin 240 in their show room which is by appointments only.
Not sure if they still stock/sell Cabanons though.

I have a Bedoin 240 with the front added canopy, a friend has a Noumea and think the Cabanon has more usable interior space but the Esvo with front canopy added has more space to cook / sit outside
That was the conclusion I was coming to. I love the canopy of the Bedouin, but was concerned about the lack of standing headroom inside. I need enough standing headroom to be able to get dressed comfortably and room for my high level cot, so it seems the Noumea will be more suitable. Even that will be a squeeze, but if I go any larger I will struggle carrying it. Thank you for the comparison.
It has been so hard to find out any more information about the Noumea.

All my concerns about the weight were unfounded. The actual tent weighs less than 13kg, the poles just under 5kg and then about 2kg for pegs and mallet.
