My sister needs some camping advice which is is not mine!!
She is planning on camping with her husband and twins, age 6, this summer at a (non public) site where people camp but use it as accommodation only as food and activity is in a central area. She will also use this tent in the grandparents garden, again I can presume that food and activity will be in the house & garden and the tent is just fun.
She wishes to have an easy-up tent and is looking at a Berghaus air 600 XL (or similar name). I say that it may be suitable for a family camping at a normal campsite for a weeks holiday but may be large for just sleeping.
I suggested a Vango Icarus as cheap and quick up but not easy up. If the whole family like camping then I suggested that they buy a larger family tent for longer camping holidays.
They have an EV and can use a top box but I think an air tent may be too heavy for the car and kit.
Suggestions for her please. Thank you.
