Hi, we had to come home from our camping holiday last night due to a rip in the tent fabric adjacent to the airbeam. Ie the airbeam itself isn’t damaged, it’s the fabric that runs between airbeams that’s damaged but along the join to the beam. It doesn’t sound salvageable to me given the pressure that must be there along that now broken seam. I’d send a picture but not there until later on. Just trying to decide if this is a rescue or mission or disposal… thanks, J

Pretty good chance that a decent tent/awning repairer could affix a reinforcing insert to repair the split. May not be too pretty, but likely functional.
But is does raise the question, is the tent at end of life in terms of fabric durability! The fabric does degrade over time/exposure to sunlight. How old is it/how many time has it been used?
As stated above, a competent tent repair company should be able to repair the tent with a suitable patch, provided the fabric has not degraded with age.
I would first check, however, whether the tent manufacturer offers a repair service.
