We had for 10+ years a Robens Lodge tent that we absolutely loved. Got old and needs replacement and surprise they've changed our most essential feature: the 2 full meshed doors!
So since a while now we are looking for a replacement.
We camped in mountains, all weather but not snow or below 0.
we camped at seaside at 37 celsius.
The 2 full meshed doors did their ventilation job perfectly
I guess what we are looking for is something like a crossover between a 4 seasons tent and a 3 seasons one.
MRS Mutha Hubba, seems to have too much mesh at head level. and not full messhed doors
Nemo dagger seems simmilar, buut has a weird rainfly that does not go all the way to the ground
Hilleberg Allak 3 needs its rainsheet to stand up, has 6? poles, in not symetrical, in rest would be great.
Marmot Fortress was an option but the fly sheet was simply too high from the ground, only one door was full meshed, but had nice extra ventilation options at the feet.
Any othe suggestions like these?

Hi krs0 and welcome to the forum. I think it takes a while adapting to a new tent & working out how to get the best out of it, and that can be frustrating but it’s part of the experience.
Maybe you will find a good second hand Lodge 3? Or use the existing inner with a new example? Or alter the doors of a new one yourself?
We thought about altering the doors... at a local shop... but we are a little skeptic, it will have to fit just right since that part is tensioned, by poles.
There have been some good modding posts on here in the past, but not in recent years. I think I’d probably start by asking Scottish Mountain Gearfor a quote or pointers, unless you’ve got a favourite tent shop?
