Hi everyone... Newby here.
I have owned a Vango Hydra for over 30 years and have noticed that the seems on the fly need attention to the seems. Some of the tape on the seems is peeling off. Can anyone advise how I should go about doing this on a tent of this age please?

Take it to your local dressmaker. The cotton thread has probably started to rot (just old age & damp). They might suggest the whole seam needs to be redone: they’ll have the heavy duty needles.
Google will probably help with the tape question but the dressmaker might know: it’s used on waterproof jackets.
If it is simply the seam tape peeling off and the stitching appears to be ok, then just peel off the old tape, clean the area around the seam thoroughly and apply new adhesive and tape.
Seam tape and seam adhesive are available from most decent camping equipment suppliers.
