We bought a second-hand tent last year, went camping and packed it away (thinking it was completely dry!) but got the tent out and it is covered in a green/black mould inside and out. We have tried wiping it down with Milton/water and air drying it in the sun but the stains are not shifting at all.
Any suggestions or do we need to accept defeat? :(

Personally I think you will have to bin it ( I know I would as mould is not a healthy thing ). Perhaps others have a solution,
Take a look here , this company sells brand new but older stock tents:
Thanks everyone. Yes, we've come to the sad conclusion to bin it. I contacted the tent manufacturer Colman to ask if there was anywhere we could recycle it but no so we'll cut out the useful bits and get rid of the rest. Very expensive lesson learned.
You’re not the first.
It’ll be fine for a trip that’s guaranteed dry weather. You could put a tarp over the top, as a temporary measure: some pretty smart tarps shown in other threads.
I would just leave it out in the strong sunshine, the mould will have been killed off by the Milton, the sun will dry out any remaining fungal material. The stains will only be a cosmetic problem.

I don't think it does... Outdoormegastore went our of business years ago and nothing on the site you've linked to has a 'buy' option.
Yes your absolutely right ! Seems silly them still having a fully fledged website ?
I was looking for a Vango Stelvio and thats how I came across the site, I hadnt of course tried to add an item to my basket .
Thanks for the heads up.
Cazlar please ignore the link I gave you, many apologies.

To be fair, rven though I know Outdoormegastore went out of business years ago, I clicked on your link and got a bit excited when I saw the website was called ' Outdoor World Shop' and was showing some old favourites. Then, of course, I realised there was no purchase option for anything!
