Hi
Hoping for some advice.
We have an Outwell that thankfully came with a few spare fibreglass poles from new. We have a split pole we are replacing with the spare supplied. But noticed the spare has a sticker saying 'spare pole not glued'. The ferrule is slightly loose on the spare pole. Two questions:
Should we glue the ferrule to the pole?
What type of glue is best for bonding the fibreglass pole to the metal ferrule.

Looking in the original poles it looks like clear glue, possibly from a glue gun. But not sure what is recommended. I've emailed Outwell with no help back yet.

Thank you in advance for any pointers/advice

No-nails will do it but I'd also insulation tape round the join - belt and braces.
