I have just bought a berghaus air 6 tent and tried to put it up with my friend today. However, everytime when we unplugged the pump, the air just came back out. It wouldn't stay in! There's a tool for the valves but we were unsure how to use it. Please help!

I'm not sure what valve the Berghaus use as it millets own brand (part of the same group) so either post a picture of the valve for me or talk to millets as this is where you will of bought it unless it was second hand.

Watch this video at about 2mins 20secs, shows detaching pump nozzle, appears to just twist off & cap goes on.

Thanks. Yes I've bought it from millets. Unfortunately I don't know how to upload a photo of the valve for you to have a look Cross Camping.

Yes thanks for the video link Opensauce. I watched it yesterday but still couldn't work out how the air stayed in since we did nothing different from them. I just wonder if our valves are in the open position.

Have the valves got a push button in the middle
When pushed it might operate a spring loaded stopped simalar to what Outdoor Revolution use on their valves

Yes the valve has a little push button in the middle. I believe when you push it, that will let the air out. However, when we finished inflating the beam and unplugged the pump, the air just came blasting out from the valve.

Ok
Press the button before you start inflating
The pressing of the button activates a non return valve
If it's been pressed once it may be in the open position so it will need pressing again to put it into the closed/inflation setting
Once inflated and the air doesn't come out you then need to press the button to release the air
But remember to press it again next time you inflate the tent

That's very good to know their valves are very good! It certainly is very easy to put it up once worked out how to operate the valves!
