Hi we have a Colman Cabral 6 tent which is no longer made. It is brilliant Unfortunately 3 of the 9 sectioned fibre glass tent poles have split and Colmans no longer stock replacement poles. the 9 section pole has a diameter of 9mm and it is 450cm in total meaning each section is 50 cm in length. LRS are completely overwhelmed with repairs and not taking any new work on.
Can anyone suggest any supplier who keeps tent pole stock ? or suggest an alternative - eg could a 10 section pole work ? seems such a waste not to be able to use the tent when the rest is all perfect

There are only really two critical dimensions with glass fibre poles, the pole diameter, and the OVERALL pole length, the number of sections is largely immaterial. With replacement poles, its common to have to cut a pole section to get the correct overall length, a fine tooth hacksaw is the typical method, and as smooth a cut end as possible.
