Hello I have a sendero 6 tent and am wondering if anyone can help with if it is possible to find a way to make the opening flap into a kinda porch like feature to help stop the sun coming in to the living area so much in the day time.
Also I cam not find measurements for a carpet for living area?? As you can guess this is a new tent and at moment I am in a 30moh wind area right next to a wind farm so unable (unwilling) to try to out it up on my own to measure
Any other information about this tent would also be fantastic
Thanks soo much in advance

Not too difficult to achieve the porch, I assume your door flap doesn't already have integrated attachment points (many do) for 'King poles' to turn it into an awning, not a problem, just use non-permanent clips to give an anchor point to attach the King Poles to.

These are quite good poles as longer than most (adjustable height by using less sections), so you don't put the end of the awning at eye height and risk walking into it! … and a lot cheaper than many! I've got some, and very happy with them. https://www.decathlon.co.uk/p/2-camping-poles-for-tents-shelters-and-tarps/_/R-p-123628 Can't remember if they came with necessary guy ropes, or I used spares I had, but you may need to buy those as well.

These type clips should work on your door flap without affecting normal use either removed after use or placed clear of zips, they save having to modify the actual tent in any permanent way. https://www.easyklip.com/

Sorry can't help with carpet size, or further info on the tent.

Pretty sure Easyklip available in UK, or plenty of 'lookylikeys' around.
