Hi there, was in a tip shop and picked up a robens cabin 300 for a few quid but its got none of the poles with it, looks like its got junction sections so looks like i wont be able to use random spare poles. Would it be worth trying to get these or would the cost be prohibitive and just get a new tent? Anyone had any experience of getting spares from Robens? Cheers

I have the Robens 300 and have a single section of the main 'pole' split.
Could not find spares - and looked at the Korean manufacturer of the poles (and a dozen other options)
If going down the 'spares / oem' route; it would cost 'Hundreds and Hundreds' of GBP to be able to get all the poles
A new tent would be the best option
PS: I still havent repaired my pole, but the easiest option I have might be to saw off the 3 inch split (and then put a 'splint' around the end of the pole in case any stress cracks are in the pole) and go from there

or simply find the thickness of the pole and its length and go to a camping supplier and but a replacement pole for around £10 or less
thanks all, I think because I got the body of the tent for literally £5 and its in really good nick I might see if I can put some poles and connectors together for less than what I have seen, have messaged Robens but expect as the message above said it would be hundreds of pounds, I know I will need some 3 way connectors too, does anyone know the lengths and widths of the poles?
