hi why not try the vario 900 gives loads of space bedrooms can be altered and for short breaks you dont have to take the annex..........really versatile tent and cheaper than a monty but every bit as airy as you could get.

good luck

Hi I'm a new member to this great site.

I've just had a Halfords roof carrier fitted for the same reason - lack of space and I own a Renault Laguna. Problem is, the rack and box were fitted by Halfords they were on special offer but when I removed the box, thinking I only needed it when we went camping, leaving the rack in place it whistled at me at anything above 50 mph. I replaced the box and the whistle stopped so I now have to leave the box on permanently. This was a high pitched ear piercing whistle which believe me is unbearable. So be warned, check before you buy. Wish I had. I also forgot that the box was on when I parked in a multi storey car park, only just cleared the roof beams. Security guard told me some were not so lucky. the only other option would be to remove box complete with rack but that would probably be too much hastle.

Happy Camping - I've been camping in October but the wife took the duvet/blankets off the bed as well as sleeping bags. I laughed but was soon Glad she did.

Not sure whether you want to do this but if you get a piece of the foam pipe lagging and tape it round the front roof bar it will stop the whistling If you know what I mean by a Ty wrap then that is better and looks tidy
