our vario 6 is good in the wind but I will never try to put it up in the wind as doing so cost me three sections of poles...
Oh and £300 for a Vango breckenridge that went up in the wind and stayed up not moving at all

Has anyone any experience of the Norfolk Lake in strong wind?
We recently changed from a Diablo 900 that took its share of bad weather but now wonder tow the NL will compare.

I much prefere the Aspen for the comfort ,warmth ,space ,versatility ,ventilation .
We still use the Monty if we want a 'quick pitch ' as it is physically less demanding to erect than the Aspen

thanks for that you have just confirmed what i was thinking the aspen has everything we want in a tent. some friends of ours have one and they always look a lot more steadier in winds than we do in the folding camper. just got to raise the money to get one.------------- luv kateboo xxx
