I know this will sound a little bit controversial but could you not think about a different tent maybe - like a Vango Amazon (looks yummy); a royal bordeaux (what is the difference between that and a Montana?); my tent (check my gallery - ignore the mess); and probably many others. I know how it feels to have your heart set on a particular tent, but think how good it will feel to have the only non green and grey tent on the site.

I feel the same Clare - we are chasing an Amazon to look at in the flesh, a pink and orange one? Hmmm maybe not! What are the tents on your gallery?
Linney 2008, The great outdoor tent exhibition at Cheshire Oaks have the Vango Vail on show. The Vango vail is now the amazon and may give you an idea. Looks like a nice tent.

Thanks for all the replies.
sxis - Lots of other places have them in stock, but not at £199!
I've actually been looking at tents for almost 2 years (yes, I procrastinate very well!), and I still keep coming back to the Monty 6.
Ho hum.....back to the drawing board.
Thanks again. Angela
...and I do understand why, it is a fantastic tent. Outwell seem to have captured an idea so well. However, there are some really fantastic tents out there, and at bargain prices, that do the job just as well, if dare I say it, not better. I think Outwell's greatest achievement has been in their marketing and getting so many tents pitched at so many camp shops around the country. The style has been reproduced by many but they aren't on show and that is a shame. I wouldn't like to think that camping will soon come down to "Outwell or other", but that's how it feels at the moment.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
