I like the video, makes me realise that there is little difference in useable space between the indian lake and my baby frame tent......big difference in price and storage size though!
Not for me I'm afraid!

Totally agree, a Frankensteins Monster of a tent. If you want to see a perfect tipi with porch configuration check this out.

Or even better as Merry says,,, whatever paddles your canoe... loving that saying lol
Cheers m'dear! I was going to say whatever floats your boat, but decided paddling a canoe sounded more tipi-like, if that makes any sense.------------- Tackling life the Western District way

Had a nosey in one the other day. Didn't like it myself. Hardly any living space at all and with the very sloped sides felt really cramped.
Give me an Ohio XL anyday.------------- If you see a family struggling to put up the tent then it must be us!

So, after you've pitched and pegged and guyed, you then have to guy out that silly plant pot on the top?
Nope, not for moi. Give me a Cabanon Barbados (please! ) or Guadeloupe any day!

Oh you guys! Nice post Liddenham!
Well you are all talking complete sense, it is ridiculously priced and probably not the most practical but it is still sooooo sexy (in my screwed up brain anyway). Other half doesnt seem to have the same total admiration of one as I do so I may be on a loser here but I just love the practical zip in groundsheet and general romantic feel about it. The problem with most tipi type tents is the fact they dont have a SIG and because I am a complete wimp camper who screams like I have been bitten by Dracula if I see a spider this tent is safe from bugs and attractive (again I am aware beauty is in the eye of the beholder). I think if we were to pitch up next to one of these at a site I may have to be prized off it by the police when it came home time.
Ohhhhh does anyone love it like me?------------- Cheers,
Domino (Donna)

I really wanted to like it......
But seeing it at the NEC changed my mind. It's just so dark inside. Having ample headroom is nice, but the height of this is just crackers! Does not feel cozy inside.
Anyway, if you like it that's all that matters!
