we have an ultrafit tent

not too bad- size wize, but have really bad leaks along the main seams, it has a 'tape' looking rubbery joint (oh, i am sooo technical!) that seems to not work, and the water then drips down the elastic toggles that the inner tents are connected by. there is nothing else wrong with it, it has 3 large bedrooms, that will all take a king size airbed and still have ample space for luggage. (ok, DH is now convincing me that we should save money and get this one repaired :( . but i will still look at what has been mentioned!

An Ultrafit tent similar to this one?

If it is, and having looked at it, I'd stake my life on my opinion that you're suffering from a bad case of condensation rather than true leakage. I had a Lichfield tent of very similar design and we couldn't leave stuff out in the living area overnight because the condensation was dripping straight from the roof. We had loops of J-cloth tied round every toggle loop to stop the inners getting saturated. There were only four of us in it too! It would happen on damp and humid nights when it wasn't even raining. We were on a four week trip so we toughed it out, but when we got back I Freecycled it, I was so  fed up with it. Not enough ventilation, basically.

Don't forget to leave a review of all tents you've used, for a chance to win fantastic prizes

New! Please upload a photo of your tent to the Tent Showcase!
