As freerange says - you put the groundsheet down first and it acts as a template for where to put the tent - you attach the corners of the tent to the same pegs that you've got the groundsheet attached too - makes it easy. Less risk of twisting it which apparently happens with the base seconds on it's own.

I am totally in love with this one for my camping plans this summer, just a little worried about the sleeping-pods, what kind off underlay/groundsheet do they have? you can't see that on any of the pics or films on the website.
I am concerned that if it rained, the main and apparently flat ground-sheet won't stop any water from soaking in from underneath.
The groundsheet isn't sewn into the main tent. The tent sits on top of it. The sleeping pods are sealed with light synthetic sides and heavier plastic bottom.
The groundsheet also has breathable strips between where the sleeping pods sit and the main central area. There is a lip all round the square central area of the groundsheet that attaches to velco strips on the tent itself.
Our other tent has a sewn in groundsheet so I'm slightly apprehensive about bugs getting in. I'm planning on sticking a strip of duck tape over the breathable strips and I'll also have a second groundsheet under the 4.2's groundsheet (pond liner which we used last summer under our other tent) which will help keep the 4.2's groundsheet clean, help prevent bugs a bit and hopefully stop water ingress if there's very wet sodden ground.
Basically - the 4.2's bedrooms do have plastic bottoms so unless there's a huge puddle or a flood you shouldn't have a problem.
Okay then, I thought and went of down to the nearest Decathlon which is about an hour and a half from my place (Wiesbaden/Germany).
Best looking tent there, isn't it!!!
I had it up and down 3 times taking turns with this other lady who was keen to find out whether one person could do it on their own. Result!
I was tricky but it worked and I am only 5 foot 1. I still think the groundsheet in the sleeping pod is a bit thin, but I shall do as you have suggested and add an extra groundsheet just to make sure.
Thanks for the help.
I shall put it up this weekend if I find the time.
------------- Love and peace, Stefanie

We put it up and down again yesterday evening to show a visitor (who was impressed!). After putting up our normal tent I need a sit down and a stiff drink - certainly wouldn't pack it up again straight away.
As long as it's as watertight as the 2 second tents - we're onto a winner I think!
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
