We have a Nevada M which I pitch on my own while hubby is at work, I am 5ft and I have little if no help from a 6 year old. Watch the yeomans video, that's how I pitch mine. Had a minny 4 was just ok but needed help to lift. Millets in Newbury had Montana 4 today for £100....

I know the thread title might have attracted some obscure replies, but it did get attention!!!
Polly 64 I rang round the country and although Cambridge Blacks show stock they haven't got any otherwise its Edinburgh that show stock.
Funny enough Newbury have 2 that are not showing on any system. The really upsetting thing is that they cannot transfer between stores. I have to ring again on Tuesday. Camping World have one advertised with a minny shelter for 119.99 but none in stock.
I have narrowed my choice to Monty 4 if I can hire enough pigeons to get one of the ones in Newbury failing that Nevada M, Minnesota 4, Khyam Chatsworth or Vango Icarus 500 or 600.
best wishes
Rosemary
------------- Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.
Not do they still have it they have 2, which is a pain cos I cant get there, only have one car and DH uses it for work, weekends for next couple of weeks are a bit busy. So I have taken this one on the chin and am pretending they are not there.

I put my 5m bell tent up by myself in 25 minutes(still trying to get this time down, but keep forgetting to check my time!) In fact I find it easier to do it by myself as OH just gets in the way.
This was one of the reasons for buying a bell tent, as due to work OH turns up later, so by this time the tent's up and beds done.
Best wishes Sam

If you go to Go Outdoors site you will see a video of the Outwell Nivada M being put up. Two people are doing it together but you can see that this isn't necessary as it is very easy to do on your own and little one might get involved if she has seen it on a VT beforehand too! There might be other VT's on YouTube which could help with your dilema?
Rosemary, if you have your heart set on the monty 4. then maybe e could try and sort something out, I'm 30 mins drive away....
If they took payment over the phone you could courier from mine??
Although the monty is a superb tent, it and the minny 4 are very hard to get accessories for, (I sold my minny 4 recently).
I love my Nevada m, I have got an aerobes single and it wouldn't fit with my oh camp bed in one pod.My 6 yr old now uses a single aired and it was a bit tight to get the dog in the 140 wide pod.
Some places were doing the nevada m for £145, extentsion was a god send in all the rain we had in August.

Oh I have one of those hubby's too! Except by the time mine arrives, all the cooking is done too! Are we both mad?
Hi Rosemary, I am a lone female camper and have the khyam Chatsworth, I love it and it only takes me 10 mins to erect. They are on sale at the moment for less than £300, check out the Khyam website, videos show how easy it is to put up. Good luck in your search.
