I like the idea, in fact I went to view the Karsten inflatable tents earliar this year at a campsite in Cheshire, I was impressed, but not with the £6k price tag, for a version to give similiar room to my Cotton Biscaya, although that only cost £699 brand new!. The Vango tents look good in the photos, but not for me as I am not a fan of Polyester for family tents, I would prefer to see them available in PolyCotton or better still heavy Cotton Canvas like the Karsten's. but at the end of the day, a simple metal pole, is going to be easiar to deal with should a fault occur, than a fault within a pressurised inflatable rubber tube me thinks.

Re a puncture... The chances are pretty slim but if you do get one its an easy repair. Just slip the inner tube out and fix as you would a bike inner tube. Slide the tube back into the tent and inflate. Easy...As for getting to see one pitched, not all Vango retailers take all the range of tents and due to the costs of these tents even less will take the air beam tents so you may need to travel a fair way to see one. I wouldnt mind travelling tbh, if a place near us(in the middle sorrounded by Manchester, Leeds, Sheffield, Nottingham etc being in Derbyshire) then im sure they wouldnt mind a demo before you buy especially if your forking out as much as they are putting on them pre-order atm.
