Hi

I know this is a very old thread but I have just gotten my hands on two of these tents, one of these, and a 101 j 3 100 at our local refuse collection site for the equivalent of 12 pounds (120 ZAR).

Both tents are in pristine condition, the rubber's have not even perished.

Both tents are the blue with orange door's.

I'm hoping that someone can answer a few questions for me.

1) How good is the tent (technically speaking IE water coloumb ETC & how is it regarded.

2) At the front, just under the guy tie off are 2 more tie off's, what purpose do they serve?

Here are some pictures.

BTW The First pic, The Cammo dome tent is a 3 x 3 x 2.2 H military spec canvas tent that I also got at the same refuse collection site for +- 10 pounds (R100 ZAR) I sank some money into it and bought a set of spring steel poles. All told I spent 900 ZAR for a tent valued at 6000 ZAR!

Anyhow look forward to some replies
