Hi lelly68, people who have never put up a tent, or never put one up on their own are often slightly intimidated by the idea.. Personally, I was terrified of the thought of erecting by myself.

On our last trip, it fell to me to put the tent up and it was actually easier than I thought.

Most medium size tents will be easy enough for one person with a bit of patience.

That's great lelly, make sure you let us know how you get on!

Hanka, thanks to you lovely people here I never did get that Argos tent, my first tent was the Hi Gear Zenobia which I recently sold.

I still need a couple more tents until I am happy with my collection. I'm looking for a 3 berth with good standing height for if I go camping with just one of the kids. :)

hehe Damian - never knew you sold the zenobia! already too!.
but im guessing by your sig you ve got an even bigger tent now - the kalahari8! it huge! - iv got 2 kalahari carpets because they were reduced to 20.00 but also they really nice and warm.

not sure what to suggest for a 3 berth standing height tent tbh.
what have you seen and fancied so far?
