It's £79.99....is this massively more expensive than it would be to buy a tent carpet for the living area of the tent, and have to find something to insulate the floor of two large bedroom pods, possibly more carpets?

Just had a quick look on Google for you, camping world and towsure sell that carpet but to mention a few, shop around, for best price.
We went away to the lakes in a small 2man tent couple of wks ago, no electric, picnic rug under our feet to sit on, but I had thick fleece lined socks on - perfect for me!
As a ps, I'd say don't scrimp on your sleeping bag if you intend to camp on colder weather, a 3 or 4 season mummy bag (male/female specific) will keep you toasty ;-)
Remember, the more you take the more space you take up! Buy good all season stuff, then you can forget all that extra insulation! (just my view of course lol)
