There was maybe 0.5cm difference between some of the poles lengths denny98, is that okay? Or am I missing a sarcastic comment? Forgive me, my youngest doesn't allow me much sleep.

I had sort of hoped that a pole may be shorter which would explain the reason for the problem.
Gutted for you coz the Montana is a really good tent.
