Aha! West Wittering, I often go there.

I suppose you'll go to Nunnington CampSite?

Nice drive to East Wittering and Bracklesham Bay.
But I like to cycle that route myself

First time camping so no idea about the camping sites around there,
Silly question....is the cost of camping on sites related to the size of the tents?

At Nunnington, the rate per night will be £27 for a car, tent, 2 adults. £1 extra per night each child under 18, or £5 per serson over 18.

There is no difference (at this site) if you have a Motorhome, Caravan, or Tent (NO MORE THAN 7 METRES WIDTH).

Other sites DO charge less for tenTS.

Hmmm Scotts at East Wittering, 5 metre pitches..

Don't want to burst your bubble, but expect rowdy rough types there.

Rachael (the Manager) will be pleased to accomodate you.

You realise this is now PEAK SEASON, so best to phone ahead. Get there for 10:00 early entry.

Just to let you know, if you decide to drive to West Wittering Estate, to go to the lovely (and large) sandy beach, expect it to take a long time to queue to enter and exit, at peak times.

I prefer to cycle or walk, but it is a distance, (15-20 minutes, same time to put up the tent) so make sure you have ALL you need before you set out.

Just a point:-
Consider getting a Manual Pump, some users find the 12 Volt ones not good.

Regards James

I'm gone send a email to them as I have a date in mind ,
Yes the manual pump is included and is hiding somewhere inside the bag together with the rest of hardware....I'm sure it will be fun pitching it ...I need to stock up on ventolin for sure
Regarding the beach yes we been there before..I know it gets busy...we may need to use the car from the camping site to there due to impatient kids!

My wife and I found Nunnington was quite busy today.

West Wittering beach was packed again, high tide meant not enough space to spread out.

From Monday 31st looks good for the tides, but the weather is forecast to be rainy

Kind Regards James
