Have a look at the threads on the Folding Camper / Trailer Tent section on UKCS - may be best of both worlds, a lot quicker to put up than a tent (timed from ignition off to first cup of tea) and smaller to store. And you’re not sleeping on or near the floor - getting up from a low position in a tent might be less easy if you have back issues.
