I'd go for canvas. We changed to canvas recently after four years with poly.Stands up to intense weather(Ours has been in a storm) and feels more sturdy. Also, had no condensation in the canvas, which was a real problem before.Good luck with your choice.
Nylon tents aren't necessarily quicker to put up; it depends what type of canvas tent you have.
I have a 4m canvas bell tent which sleeps my family of 7 (just about), which I can put up single-handed in about 20 minutes, although I do spend time fine-tuning after that. Maybe I'm particularly slow, but (apart from Quechua-style pop-ups) I seem to take at least 1 or 2 hours to put up every nylon tent I've ever tried. I curse pole-and-sleeves, and last weekend was trying out a Khyam which was supposedly quick-erect. Quick compared to what? Not compared to my lovely bell tent... while I was mucking around with thousands of guy lines and zips, I realised that if it was my usual tent, I'd have been relaxing a good hour earlier. It was so much colder at night, and felt so flimsy.... found a couple of tiny pinprick holes which I had to repair, whereas with the canvas tent, pinprick holes wouldn't really be a problem because the canvas swells as it gets wet and so blocks tiny holes. If it gets damaged, you can see that a small hole would not spread easily and you can get a long-term repair done, which can be difficult with a nylon tent. I'm not saying my tent is perfect - I am still not exactly sure what my perfect tent would be! - but canvas has so much going for it.

Hi Paul
The tents you posted have fiberglass pole system this type of poles are the least resistant to strong winds of all tents, especially in the tunnel tent design. If I were you I would give it some thought.

Cabanon claim thier "All Season Polyester" is durable and breatheable, I have a sample in the form of a spare Sun Canopy, although it maybe what they claim, it is no substitute for thier "Quality Cotton", and having said that I would still recommend Cabanon "All Season Polyester" as a good choice of canvas, but I could not help noticing that on all the Cabanon 2008 Trailer Tents, Cotton was used for the cabin roof and walls, saving the "All Season Polyester" for the Awning walls, and living area, the only exeption was the Venus, which is Cotton all over, for me that told it's own story.
