Talking of pegs......what do you think of the pegs that came with the Icarus. I'm thinking first purchase (apart from some tenacious tape) should be a selection of stronger pegs. Those D rings definately need something a bit more sturdy, possibly V pegs?

Having said that, the pegs supplied are better quality than those that came with my other tents (a Royal Tarn, a lichfield kiowa and a pop up vango dart)

dcope, what were the large yellow pegs you mention?

i got these for the guy lines

i used the nornal pegs for the fly sheets etc and for putting through the rings.

Lovely photos guys!

Wish I'd taken some when I pitched ours last week (we have the blue Icarus 500 - no choice in colour as it was the last one in the sale at £100, so I'm not complaining!). All these lovely pictures are just making me all the more excited about our first camp over the early May bank holiday!

It was the blue one I first asked for, but the shop only had green. Just as well as my sis has the blue one already and at least we'll be able to tell who's is who's after a glass of vino
