I know you said 5 of you but what 5? Adults, small people, teens, dogs? And max budget would be? Are you happy with all sleeping in one room?
So many questions but all designed to help!

2 adults,3 reprobates(sorry children)I've learnt a bit over the last 8 weeks just looking at tents (not being able to camp).
5 or 6 man would be ok £100.

Even at 350cm that tent would be snug for two adults and three kids. Not a lot of living space and not a lot of head height. TBH self inflating mats have one very big advantage over airbeds when it comes to restricted space in a tent, the kids can sit and play on SIMs and thus the bedroom pod can be used for living space in the daytime, if it's raining. Of course you can deflate airbeds but that's a hassle. I'd really be thinking 8-man size for a family of five tbh, even for a weekender.
6-8man for £100? Wonder what Go Outdoors has in their own brand for that price? They usually have some sort of weekend deal on.
Mike I'm with you. However a tent manufacturer can and do change specification. Once they do make any changes they only list the current model and specification. If you look at any of the known major manufactures they do this Outwell, Kampa, Vango etc.
The error seems to have occurred between the Charlies Direct and the Amazon listing. It could be that when the tent was listed via Amazon they had to use the details held by Amazon, a bit like when you list a product on ebay...? No idea if this was the case but all a bit strange...?
Tenterman glad you got your refund ok. As suggested it maybe worth looking at larger tents...? Also it maybe worth trying to increase your budget or looking at good secondhand alternatives or even a used Cabanon frame tent..?
Yeh, I think SIM's are the way to go with what we have in mind.A 5 man with fully sawn in ground sheet. could sleep sleep 4 in pod and 1 in living room, and have a canopy for even more space.I think that may work but before I buy I am certainly going to try.No more online buying for this mug.Gonna up the budget anyway, the arisaig was only intended for a trial, A kiss me quick if you know what I mean did'nt want to spend to much in case kids did'nt like it.Looking at a icarus 5 £100 used, good nick, old blue one,09/10 model I think and I believe the woburn canopy fits it,shade of blue different but I can live with that.Any thoughts?
