I've been looking at this myself and its the sleeping bags for the kids that has me most worried. I brought two decent kids sleeping bags (cost more than the adult ones I brought at the same time yet are rated lower) yet they only have a lower rating (not the extreme rating) of 7C. This is nowhere near enough for me to feel comfy in letting the kids sleep in November like we planned. I've looked at adding liners for the sleeping bags but I can't find fleece liners in a junior size and I'm not keen on folding over adult ones inside the sleeping bag.

I've seen people use kids bags placed inside cheaper adult bags for winter use. Gather the excess material of the adult bag together at the bottom and either tie string around it or make a large elastic band to stop the kids bag sliding too far down inside - toasty warm
