Brilliant pics, and that is a great tent you have there. I'm going to visit one tomorrow at the Yeomans show at Stapleford.

I meant to thank whoever it was on here (I think it was the review section) that mentioned tapeing up the tensioning poles' pop out lugs to avoid catching/ripping the webbing on the sleeves.

I used insulation tape and it worked a treat, the poles slid straight through and came back out again with absolutely no resistance or damage.

An excellent tip THANKS!

What a lovely tent... You'll enjoy it madly I'm sure... I'm sat in the awning of our BL as I type in a field in rural Devon... Bliss.... The sun (and the temperature) have both dropped and my scrumpy is running low so I think I'll be retiring shortly... Great tent... Enjoy!

Ahhaaa, it's funny you should say that. While we already have a Vango Delta 300 which we would use for planned short stays, I did think it might be a good idea to have a cheap'n'cheerful "pop-up" style tent in case we got to a site and it was chucking it down.

We could sleep the night in the pop-up and then put Wolfy up the next day.

A Delta would go up nearly as fast as a pop-up and has the advantage of a bell-end. I was more thinking of something like the ever trusty Vango Venture, which I see on another thread is going to be reduced to £59.99 over the first week in June. Great tent for a couple of nights.

To be honest the Wolfy is a lot easier to put up than I anticipated so I don't see the need.

Admitedly I wouldn't put it up for 1 night but 2 nights and up would be fine. Therefore, Wolfy + Delta 300 should be all we ever need.

If anybody comes across a tent that you can just lob out of the car windows in the pouring rain and it automatically lays a groundsheet, pops into shape, pegs itself out and puts the kettle on then let me know.

The day after I posted my last post (above) we tested pregnant for our first child. We never got to use the tent and then we had another son.

Finally, they are 6 and 4 and we are
