hello .yes its like the suncamp vario. you should push your poles through the sleeves (could be colour coded) and then some one has to get in side and push the poles up while someone on the outside puts them into the ring and pin system. most tents are like this so some one should be able to help
Mine went up fairly easy, but one or two of the poles may be tight until the material loosens up a bit. This is normal apparently. I'm chuffed with mine.
hi just bought alto 6 opened it up but havnt had a go at puttin it up yet can anyone tell me how the end of the pole attaches to the ring and pin system end of pole is about 3inches of metal but how does it fasten into ring and pin? also there is some canvas straps about 1 inch wide coming off the ring and pin wot are these for ?as you can tell this is my first time avnt got a clue please help thanks alan
hi kingswan.this is the post your loking for scroll down. they are near the bottom. hope this helps as im off camping till tuesday. there should be straps running across the bottom of te tent ,side to side.on these near the bottom of the fly sheet is a hand grenade type of pin. if the pin is missing you have a duff tent and get in touch with retailer
hi thanks for your help i have managed to sort the ring and pin out shows pictures on google for us idiots wot was baffling me was the way the pin just goes up the end of the pole just seems naff and flimsy cheesed off with it all avnt even set it up yet but thanks to everyone for help alan

This isn't a Rage idea, it's a standard tenting method, and is secure, safe and easy. Saves another peg, and makes sure you don't put it in the wrong place.
