Hi All,

I hope someone can advise as I don't know what are good tents and what aren't.

We were tempted to buy an outwell jersey M pop up as our first tent, but have decided its a bit too small so we'd like something a bit bigger.  There is me, dh and ds who is nearly 5.

Can anyone recommend a 4 man that would be good for us.  We're thinking of something that is maybe a kind of dome tent (easy to put up?) that has a big bedroom at the back and maybe a living room at the front which opens up or can be used as an additional sleeping area (in case mother wants to come).

I don't have a huge budget but under £100 would be good.  We're only likely to use it for weekends at the moment.

Thanks in advance.

Catherine x

Hi, have a little look at a vango beta 450.......ideal for what you are after and only £79.....piccy is a 350 but you get the idea.

the coleman canyon 6 is pretty cool and still within budget.

I bought the Outwell Oregon 4 over the weekend which has a nice spacious bedroom and porch area - very well made tent. Note: you wouldn't be able to stand up in it - my other half can but she's about 5ft 1 - so no good if your other half is a six footer (which I am but I don't mind stooping inside the tent).
