Just looking to buy this tent for my family of 4. We have a small car so need a tent to pack down and this seems to do that. Does anyone know anything about these tents?
I do like height and room and if i had a larger car would go for the vango Aspen although my children are older and would like seperate sleeping areas. I like the vango aspen because you can stand up in all areas
the only thing i am concerned about this tent is that the porch is not very high and constant touching with tall people could mean water leaking in. Does anyone know of a tent that packs down small and has a high porch?

Just wondered if you went for this tent in the end/ I've been looking at it too and am currently trying to find it up somewhere so I can look at it.
If you did get it what's it like? If not what did you get? We're a family of 4 looking for a tent that's quick to put up, not too heavy with a porch and several doors and windows.
hi there, we have the 800 dlx version and I cant see there being any problems with the porch area, have you got the dlx as i believe they have extended porches and thats the only difference.
you can always get the additional canopy which is a vango universal canopy and comes in 2 sizes standard or Large.
we have bought the large and it gives loads of extra space for sitting/ or cooking in bad weather and rolls up into its own bag not much bigger than a folding camp chair
I have the 600DLX 2006 model (not much difference apart from the colour, "apparently") andI see where you're coming from with the canopy. The answer is to get longer tent poles to keep it up with. £20 from Millets. Easy peasy. Of course, as ours is "last season's stock" it was dead cheap - £125 - so we don't mind if it's not the latest & greatest. It's still a cracking good tent, and it is a Vango, which is a renowned brand with a long history. So shop around for an older model and you might be able to snag a bargain. Ours came from a Millets tent show by the way.
