Yep, on paper they look great and after our problems with the Vango Kilingtons described in other threads we also shortlisted that tent. Not so sure now though as Outwell reputation has suffered badly here. I would still consider tha Vango Diablo or the Wild Country Halo 104. As yet we still cant decide between the Three. Good luck
We opted for the Georgia XL, took a chance despite of breif ownership of a leaking Outwell Nebraska XL. I am hopefull, that because of it's design, it will not have the problems of the one piece type of tent like the Nebraska.
I can not review it properly, just yet, as it only arrived about 2 hours ago and is still boxed !!!! We will pitch it when the rain stops!
We've just pitched the Georgia XL in the garden after also having a leaky Nebraska XL. Tent looks and feels great- despite it being a little convulted to put up. We made some 'beginner's errors' so when we use it for real it will be much easier.
Weather looks promising for leak testing overnight. Like Jo, looking at the tent design I am also hopeful!
I'll post another review after a good hard rain. BTW Go Outdoors in Loughborough were extremely accomodating and helpful when we wanted to change from the Nebraska to the Georgia.

Well, with a few minor teething problems, we have pitched the Georgia XL and all seems ok thus far!! Although, the flysheet does seem to be quite high off the ground??
I doubt that we will be able to leak test, without use of hose!! as the rain has gone away!!!

thanks joyhilder70, love to know how you get on with the goergia xl (wanted nebraska xxl really but we're well put off by info on this site !) as we are imminently going to order one !!, have you done a leak test ?
Is your lawn uneven or do you think the fly is too small for the tent ? Or does anyone know if tthis is deliberate to allow better ventilation to reduce condensation !!??
Great, think I may go ahead and order one, but have to go online shop (possibly : tentsandcamping.co.uk) as no one near us stocks it (vango diablo cheaper and similar)
However, we used tentsandcamping.co.uk last year, to buy our Outwell Nebraska and had an awful experience with them, regarding the return of the tent. Their customer service was hideous.
Here is the original post about them, that I posted last year.
------------------------------------------
Hi there,
We bought a Nebraska XL from tentsandcamping.co.uk which leaked like a sieve on first use.
We contacted Tents and Camping, to return the tent and they expected us to pay the full carriage return, without refund...bearing in mind this is a tent which weighs approx. 66 KG.
We thought that this was harsh and battled it out with them and managed to a comprimise and pay £20 return carriage, just to get rid of the tent. This was to be deducted from our tent refund.
They said that' we will not make a profit on this tent and that if you had bought it from our shop, you would have had to bring it back!!
Their website say's 'We intend to ensure that the same after sales service is available whether you live 1 mile or 500 miles' this is clearly not the case.
I think that this is poor and unacceptable customer service and we have been penilised for buying a duff tent.
We are hugely disapointed as this promised to be a fab tent. I hope that Outwell can rectify the problem.
We will not be using Tents and Camping again.

oohh, thanks for that !! always worth knowing any probs, just wonder if there are any good, no... excellent on-line retailers out there ?!
like you said they are heavy and costly to post - and as you can't view before you buy or easily sort out probs. its a bit of a risk for such an expensive investment !!
iv just bought a geogia xl for 379 pound with free delivery from www.worldofcamping.co.uk and it came with the wall to wall carpet worth like 50 quid for free, came within 48 hours excellently customers serive and they have got a online message chat room where you can talk to an advisor
