hi ive got a killington 600 , been away for a few days with it and at the moment touch wood we have had no problems with it, has anyone else who has this tent been able to get the footprint yet? we are going away for two weeks in august so that will give it a good test, but i rang the retailer where i got it from and they said that if i had any problems after that to get in touch to return it, so fingers crossed.

We have friends with this tent - theirs has been OK as well - they spoke to the retailer where they bought theirs 1. To check on re-calls and 2. For the footprint and were told it has really hard to get hold of at the moment - have you considered making your own?

For info - the news on the Killington from Vango is that it's a small batch that are affected (but how many a small batch is I don't know) where the factory making them changed the design half way through production without telling Vango and getting permission - this is what's resulted in the leak problem now. If you had one of the first to be made you may well just be lucky.

thanks for the info, we did try our own version of a footprint with two pices of polythene that you can get when your decorating but didn`t` work very well, also where i bought the tent from are expcting two pallets of footprints on monday but don`t know what is in them so fingers crossed.
