I just wanted to ensure credit is given where due. I recently posted regarding a concern over an Outwell tent I purchased that experienced excessive condensation. Anyway I went back to the retailer to discuss this and also to see if I was better off with another model.
I'd like to thank Ryan from Norwich Camping and Leisure for spending quite a bit of time detailing the differences on the various models etc. I've been reasssured that in buying the Outwell Oregon 5 I have actually got a good tent for the budget. My concerns over the condensation are quashed as I think with a synthetic tent all models would have struggled with the excessivly wet Bank Holiday Weekend. I know from my hose testing that there's certainly no leaks and it held up well in some fairly strong winds.
Ryan was particularly helpful in drawing my attention to varying quality differences with the different manufactures and was keen to ensure we left as satisfied customers.
Looking forward to the next outing, Snowdon here I come!
