mrs pegwil and my self where recently looking for a smaller overnighter that we could stand up in with a sig and steel poles and found the outdoor rev vrx scenic 5(excellent tent and extremely tempted)when we got talking to the owner of the store when we got onto our beloved aspen which we will not be getting rid of i might add he mentioned that next years aspens will be .......................SINGLE SKIN....like the outwells and the beckinridge i personally am not happy as i thing the inside of the "beck" looks tatty and unfinnished when the beds are hung up i dont wish to offend any beck owners but the thing about the full sig is it is such a clean lined tent and extremely stable....so there you go if you dont want asingle skinned aspen buy 07 in 08 if not you spends your money and takes your chance and lets face the facts it will not be cheaper for less of a tent....happy trails

I recall that the Aspen is a full height bedroomed tent unlike the Diablo which we have. The benefit of the full inner is one of insulation in our tempremental Uk weather. In hindsight we would not have bought our Diablo because of the height restriction in the bedrooms and the fact that they suffer sagging irrespective of how we pitch it. Saying that the Aspen is a completely different tent and inner pitch first does not put me off with this style. We also have a Monty6 with hanging bedrooms and after seeing a Breckenridge 4 I confess that I actually like the configuration and would suggest that a Breck6 would be our next tent if the quality is proven.

i think the peg,s will be going for an 07 500dlx in early 08 or late 07 hmmm just dont know as we are hoping to get another stopover tent v.soon ssshhh it on e-bay and dead good value and i am not telling........happy trails team aspen or not
