Am seriosly looking at the Outwell Nebraska XL, but would like a canopy to extend the porch. Does anybody know if there is one or whether one of the other designs such as the Hartford canopy would fit??

They're both exactly the same size. The Montana 4 tent has been replaced by the Minnesota 4 but they are very similar and either canopy will fit the Nebraska XL.
I read on here that the Montana 4 or Minnesota 4 canopies both fit the Nebraska.
I believe the Montana 4 is no longer made, replaced by Minnesota 4. Same applies to the canopy unless you can find someone with old stock or a 2nd hand buy.
I bought a Minnesota 4 canopy and it fits fine, the only slight problem is, unlike the Montana canopy, the Minnesota canopy's colour doesn't match very well. Montanas had a grey roof like the Nebraska whereas Minnesotas roofs are a (dodgy) pale green colour.
Had I known this before I bought, I would have tried to get hold of a Montana 4 canopy.
Lucky I'm not fussy, it is however a worthwhile addition to the tent.
Pre-tested with hosepipe to make sure leakfree (in garden)
Got a good soaking in the lakes but performed well.
We have never had any bother with size of tent (our old one was similar size) but we like the less 'regimented' sites anyway. I think the number of sites with size limits must be less than those without anyway.
Also recommend footprint groundsheet to keep the tent underside clean, and the outwell 'wall to wall' carpet. Makes the tent really 'cozy'!!!
That's just what I think. Would love the carpet for the luxury feel and the groundsheet makes good sense. This camping job costs a fortune. Wish I could stop looking at other tents and be happy with the ones I've got!

We've got the Monty 4 canopy, see our profile, highly recommend it. I added a couple of extra guys to the front at the corners for this year though as the front pole spilt under severe wind last year. It's now rock solid.
It's great for keeping the rain off the porch so no rain drips in when you open up.
