Which ones do you like the look of in particular? Was in an Avignon recently, lovely tent. The Bordeaux is lovely too, sturdy and well made. It really depends on the shape you like, SIG or not etc etc.
I have been looking at this tent for a weekend tent for us ( family of 4) how long does it take to put up? Are they seperate bedrooms or one big room with divider curtain? How many windows/ doors have mesh. Thanks alot

The bordeaux 4 takes us (newbies!) an hour, but that was our first go at it, I'm sure an experienced camper can do it a lot quicker!
They are seperate bedrooms, side-by-side.
All the windows/doors have mesh except the main door at the front.
It has a sig, cable entry points, skylight roof windows, lovely sun canopy at the front to sit under in the evening with a glass of red, and the side annexe will make an ideal loo, altho we are going to use that space for the kitchen items, altho obviously wont be cooking there!!
The groundsheet is sewn-in in ours, when we bought ours the salesman advised against the zip-in type on this particular tent, as the zip puller was so small it made it difficult to do up!
We surprised ourselves when packing it away and DID get it back in the bag ok, as newbies we thought we would struggle with that, but they supply 2 thick webbing straps to pull it all tight and it all goes in bag fairly easily.
Love,

We haven't received ours yet as I just ordered it yesterday, but we have gone for an Avignon 6 SG.
Am glad to hear that matshan thought it was 'lovely' as we bought it blind. Felt a bit nervous about doing this but have heard so many good reports of Royal tents and feel you get a good idea about this sort of tent from photos.
Can't wait to get it and try it out, will report back once we've had a go with it.
We went for the Avignon over the Bordeaux as it's simplicity appealed to us. Bordeaux looks lovely though.
Hi June & Keith,
We were down at the D&M camping centre today and had a look at the bordeaux 4 and were very immpressed with it. This will be our 1st tent and are leaning towards a Khyam 4 berth because of the easy setup system, 10mins supposedly. How easy is the bordeaux to set up? we've never set up a tent in our lives before!
