Just ordered an outwell georgia xl + footprint+carpet from outdoor megastore.

Hoping that by reading loads of stuff here that ive done the right thing !! Some of you seem to have had a good experience with O.M. co.uk and the prices compare well.

Also hoping the georgia doesn't have the problems of the nebraska what with all this wet stuff about !!  Had 3 wet camping years on the trot (but not wet in the sunncamp APS!!) just needed more room for growing lads that still love camping (must be nuts !) Anyway looking forward to me new plastic palace and a good spray test (not including the cats)

Happy times (At least I'm not camping at glastonbury festival in the mud !)

Cheerio

I'm glad that you have decided on and ordered the Outwell Georgia XL plus bits and bobs.

We too have this tent and footprint, but not carpet and we leak tested it and all seemed fine. (we too had a leaking Nebraska)

Due to it's design, I'm confident that it won't have the issues. of leaks, that the one piece type of tents, such as the Nebraska's have.

Good luck with it and welcome to the Outwell Georgia XL club

GREAT BUT HELP !

I ordered the outwell georgia xl late sunday evening from outdoor megastore and it arrived today...pretty quick me thinks !! Put it up in garden and blimey its humungus !!

I'm 6 ft and just comfortably reach the zips for the roof lights (O.H cant Haa ha !)

I think we just might have plenty of room for a party (or park the bike in !!) Yeah I know, can't take the bike with this monster tent (boo Hoo)

BUT I NEED HELP !!! I'm not a tent novice....or daft....and I did (for once) read all the destructions...... but there seems to be a six inch gap all round between fly and ground....to me it just don't seem to be big enough.  all poles put together ok and in the right slots, ground gently sloping but not enough for that gap.

Is this normal, am I hopeless  or have I got a dud ???
