We are looking to buy a Wynnster Antares 12, but have not seen one erected anywhere. Can anyone give me any advise, recomendations, warnings etc, about this tent??
We are a family of five, with a large dog that goes everywhere with us, so a large tent is a must. Can anyone recommend a different tent?

make sure u get dimensions of tent first cos if its a really big tent u might have probs getting a pitch wen u go away i was going to get a 12 man tent but i would of had to get 2 pitches for tent to fit on
thats why i ended up getting the kyham ontario 8
its an 8 man (obviously lol) dome type tent and its plenty of room also theres 5 of us too it has a large bedroom (which can be split into 2) and also has 2 smaller rooms (both can fit double airbeds in) plus a large enough living area
Hi, I have just bought the wynnster 9xp ats 9 berth with bags of room. We have family of 4 and my parents staying in it and there is still living space. As paulr783 said you may have problems fitting it on a pitch especially if you have EHU.
We had to book to pitchs with our previous dome tent because of the size.
I think from memory ours is 7m ish x 6m ish. the 12 must be huge!!!

Anyway, I'm in the market for a new tent as well and strongly considering the Antares 12 also. Will probably wait until later in the week to buy so my questions to all are...
If you were going to drop this kind of coin on a tent, is this what you'd buy? Why or why not?
If the decision is for the Antares 12, where would be the best place to buy it from?
I have looked into the dimentions of this tent, and it is only 60cm longer and 1.8m wider & therefore should fit onto a standard pitch size! (at a pinch!), therefore we are going to buy one!!
