Hi
Couldn't wait to pitch our new tent, so we put it up in the garden Saturday evening, easy to pitch and only took the two of us. Thrilled with the size and the little extras like the storage compartments, it is HUGE ( Mitchigan 10 ) it rained so we decided to leave it to dry. It hasn't stopped raining since, it has been torrential, we have had roads closed due to flooding and it is still raining!

Glad to hear that you are pleased with it, I think we did warn you about the size
Make sure you don’t take it down until the rain stops and it is fully dry

we did the same last year when the new Sun valley 8 arrived
my wife said not to put it up but I wanted to and sure enough it rained before I had even finished
and we had to wait one week before the sun came out to dry it - this year you may have to wait a bit longer as the weather is so much worse
good luck and enjoy your new toy

Think this is what is known as a 'baptism of fire'?
Let us know how the tent performs, kay-b?

No Leaks! and we had a months rainfall in one day! We love the space, there is a large central area and plenty of space in the bedrooms. We just have to wait for it to be dry to pack away and with more rain forecast I don't know when that will be. Even though it doesn't leak I hope we have much better weather in Cornwall.

At least yougot to pitch your new tent - We havent as yet
A lack of grassy garden meant we intended to visit a local campsite to trial pitch it, but the weather has been so bad we've not had a chance to.
9 days to go until our next camping trip and we don't know that its going to be leak free. Hope so though as it's a brand new Cabanon.
Come on Sun, come out to play please
