Please can you help. My girlfriend and I are looking to buy are second tent. We have been lucky and got are money back from the Halfords tent we bought last year. We went camping 4 time last year with it then swapped it for a new one last month when they started selling them again, as it had a few problems. Then last week when we were putting it up the wind court it and blew it in to some trees (lots of swearing and shouting) we finally got it down put it up and 2 of the polls snapped so we took it back.
So we are thinking about the Outwell Nevada L
Any advice thoughts or recommendations would be great
Thank you

I think we've both both been looking for info re the Navada L, before buying one.
I have managed to see one up at my local yeomans in Northampton and it looks very nice, the video on the outwell website is also very good and shows lots of the tents features.
The only thing stopping me was the reported issues with other outwell tents and although now one has posted any bad reports re the nevadas its been enough to put me off.
However after having a number of conversations with the local yeomans and discussing there returns policy should i have an issue, i've bitten the bullet and bought the nevada l. I'm gonna try and get it set up in the garden this week to hose/rain test it.And if it passes this then i'm going away in a couple of weeks so will post back a full report.
i have still not been able to find one to look at but we are going to go for it when i next get paid.
can you tell me what you thore about the size of the inside space. i am a bit worryed that with the coved roof it my feel small like my last tent. ok when you were siting but very closterofobic when you stand up.
hope it all gos well for you

Size seems fine....but then again our current tent is a 3 man vaude tunnel where you can't stand up anyway.
The inside will be plenty big for the wife and i....we aint that short at around 5.10 ish each and we reckon there will be plenty of room in it for us furniture and our bikes + kit etc.
Have you found any local camping shops that stock it yet? Maybe they'll arrange for one to be put up for you.
Managed to pitch it in the garden last night...it looks a lot bigger then in the showroom especially when you put the footprint down first.
Will take a little bit of practice but we managed to get it erected in about 25-30 so not bad.
There is aches of space in it and at one point we questioned whether it was too big...but then we want something that will be big enough to put our bikes in it and still have plenty of room to have out tables and chairs etc.
Did a bit of a water test this morning, hosed it good and proper for about 15 mins...and so far no leeks...granted this is nothing compaired the sustained onslaught of the british weather but it made me feel a bit better.
So far then i'm happy....first camp weekend after next.

we had looked at the nevada L and it is a very nice peice of kit however if you look around you can pretty much get exactley the same tent from another manufacturer and save at least £50
Yep us too, we were camping in thetford and the tent certainly got a testing...definately no leaks
Only one issue, managed to split/snap the pole that covers the main door. Not sure if it was faulty or a bit of over entusiasm on the wifes part but Yeomans fixed/changed it for free for me.
All in all well happy with the nevada.
Did you manage to get it back it the bag ok? I'm sure our has doubled in size
