We are looking for a big family tent with large living area. I did a bit of research and gelert tahoma 9+ seems to be the one... Well. Still not sure. Isn't it too big???????

Can't help with that particular tent I'm afraid, but just wanted to get rid of your blue face and say welcome to UKCS, hopefully someone will be along soon to comment.
Thanks for your message. We went to tent showroom today and that made me a little bit more confused again... One thing we decided was that we prefer tunnel tents to dome ones. Same reasons as yours. I found Khyam Kansas 8 in "outdoor megastore" for 199 and that seems to be the latest "the one".. I like fitted ground sheet and flexible room arrangement... BUT I'm still not sure.....
Michigan 10 looks great too.... I just wish, I could have them all nicely put up next to each other...
it took me about a month to finally make a decision, we put the new tent up Saturday evening and it rained so we left it to dry, it ended up being up all day Monday when we had torrential rain, floods and roads closed, we are not far from Sheffield. The tent didn't leak. Good luck in making a decision.
