Would be very interested to see how you go with Darwin on the weekend. Looked at one today and liked it, especially large bedrooms but couldnt work out where i could cook inside (although I realise that its always tricky in a tunnel tent). Have you worked out what you'll do?
Just looked at this tent a few mins ago, very nicely made, big bedroom for the 2 of us, room for table and chairs easily in the living area and mesh doors which is a major plus for the lakes and Scotland. This now goes onto my own shortlist.
Looking forward to a review after you have had it a while
I think you could probably cook at a push in the living area if it was raining but I wouldn't make a habit of it anyway as apart from the fire hazard you risk damaging the fabric with hot steam or smoke.
Buy a utility tent to go with or alternatively buy a canvas frame tent instead if you want to cook indoors all the time.
It is fairly easy to cook in the Darwin as you can open either of the side doors as well as the front. I always cook inside unless the weather is settled and good. Keep the tent well ventilated and there shouldn't be a problem.
Don't forget to leave a review of all tents you've used, for a chance to win fantastic prizes
