Just been offered a second hand Royal Avignon 6 plus and wondered how you all found it..... a couple of questions really.... do you have to hang all 3 bedroom bits? Is it a SIG? Does it come with a zip on canopy? and any leaks?
Running out of time to get a tent... was keen on Coleman Galelio L (dont think thats how you spell it though) but since read lots of reviews about puddles!

One of these were by us at easter and its a big tent.I had a Royall Andorra and i didnt have to hang all the bed pods .the Avignon does not have a sewn in groundsheet
I have just bought an Avignon 6 SG which has a SIG but the Avignon plus doesn't have a SIG. Haven't had a chance to put ours up yet but they seem to have a good reputation.
Bought our Avignon 6+ 2 years ago (clip in loose groundsheet) and love it. We are a family of 5 (kids now 10. 13 & 15) with plenty of space inside for us all. Love the light airy feeling with the big windows and skylights, even on rainy days. You can use any or none of the bedrooms so really flexible space. Am even tempted to use it as a marquee if entertaining too many at home!
We're off to France next month for 3 weeks and can't wait.

Well thanks to all about this one. Picked up the tent to put up when the rain stops... like being able to put up all or none of bedrooms, and it does look airy and light. Seems good so far....
