Hi I am new here, but have been reading for the last few days.

We have been looking for our first tent, for our first camping trip and cannot decide between the two above.

Most of the time it will just be the two of us plus small dog, but we may also have two boys with us aged 10 and 14.

The 6.2 seems so large maybe too big for us first timers but have seen a good deal at £199 inc extra bedroom (normally extra). The 5.0i deal on this site also seems good value.

As we have not been before I am wary of buying the bigger tent and never going again!! Do you think it would be best to start off with the 5.0i?? and see how we get on, it looks fine for our needs and has a SIG which the bigger tent doesn't have?

Original post should say VRX both tents are from Outdoor Revolution, well we have biten the bullet and ordered the 5.0i from this site !!! Can't wait for it to arrive,now we are looking at all the other things we need to buy.
